The Republic of Serbia, represented by its Embassy in Canberra is the Crown lessee of a property at 6 Beale Crescent (Block 14, Section 67) Deakin, 2600 ACT, on which it proposes to construct a new diplomatic complex.
After the development of the project, the Embassy has acquired the documentation necessary for construction approval and all necessary permits from the National Capital Authority (NCA). On 30 April 2023, the formal conditions for the Embassy to start the process of construction of the diplomatic complex of the Republic of Serbia in Canberra, have been fulfilled.
The new diplomatic complex (subject to budget approvals being obtained by the Embassy) is intended to include an embassy with consulate, ambassador’s residence, covered parking, other un-covered parking, landscaping and other site infrastructure.
The Embassy seeks to engage the services of a suitably qualified and experienced provider of project management and construction administration services (the Project Manager). The services are to be executed in one or more stages as required by the Principal (and subject to the Principal obtaining relevant budget approvals) (Stages) further explained in the request for tender (RTF).
